1. Nick Bostrom
Opening day one at IP EXPO Europe 2016 is the renowned TEDx speaker & philosopher Nick Bostrom, who will be sharing his views on the future of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its impact on humankind. Bostrom’s work influences some of the greatest technology and science minds of our time, including Professor Stephen Hawking, Elon Musk and Bill Gates. His book, Superintelligence, spurred them to write an open letter to the world last year highlighting AI and its risk to humanity
2. James Gosling
Kicking off the keynote program on day two is none other than James Gosling, the Farther of Java, who created the original design of the Java programming language. Now the chief software architect at Liquid Robotics, Gosling spends his time writing Open Source software for the Wave Glider, an autonomous ocean-going robot which provides real-time ocean data collection and communications. He’ll be giving attendees insight into creating Java and his latest Wave Glider project, which just swam 2,808 miles helping fight illegal fishing in the South Pacific.
A UK exclusive, innovation studio Kazendi Ltd will be bringing Microsoft’s game changing HoloLens to IP EXPO Europe. The team will be demoing the product and letting you get hands on, immersing yourself into the experience of a world changing product. A ‘Mixed Reality’ device with endless applications, HoloLens is positioned between Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality.
4. Future of panel debates
It’s a clash of the tech titans as we bring together some of the world’s most well-known technology vendors to debate the biggest topics affecting businesses right now. From cyber security to cloud computing and Internet of Things to DevOps and SecOps, these undisputed experts will be addressing some of the biggest industry problems and questions.
5. Samy Kamkar
Best known for creating the MySpace worm, the fastest spreading virus of all time, Samy Kamkar is a cyber security expert whose work is cited by the NSA, triggers hearings on Capitol Hill, and is used as the basis for security advancements across virtually all web browsers, smartphones, and other technologies. He'll be speaking to attendees about the insecurities in every day technologies through his seminar Secret Hacking Techniques which is described as revealing something fun, fascinating and terrifying!
6. Tech clinic

9. DevOps Cafe
Damon Edwards and John Willis are the gold standard in the podcast community producing the influential and always excellent DevOps Café podcast which they will host a live recording of onstage at IP EXPO Europe. This is a very cool opportunity to see some legendary DevOps experts and we recommend arriving early to make sure you get a seat!
